Love all the group exercises
Haven't really tried any of the programs/activities. I go for the gym. I was a member before the gym became state-of-the-art. I liked the old one, but truly love the new one. Thank you for doing that!
I only did the Chair Yoga once and the class was great. I will sign up soon again. I started the Aquatic stretch classes this week and I truly enjoyed this new class.
Accessible, fun
Rubens and the Tues/Thurs 1pm class. Rubens is just the best. Best, best instructor. Kind and patient with all of us with different levels of ability. We just couldn't have found a better instructor with the biggest smile and enthusiasm. We are lucky that he took the time to step in and fill the instructor role for this class. We get a great workout and we laugh and have great music. Rubens, we appreciate you and are so thankful for your instruction and adaptability for our needs. You are a special part if the Melrose family ymca and we are lucky to have you!

I enjoy the variety of classes both in the pool and in the gym/yoga studio. Classes are sometimes difficult to get in, the popular classes. Can we move the class to the third floor, knowing that there are 10 people on the waitlist? Summer is easier people are away but come the fall it will be hard to get a spot. 
Been a member for almost 40 years, not going anywhere else.

I'm going to sound like a broken record, but Lauren Sanford and Nicole Wade are the reasons why I adore the Melrose Y and it's my one-stop-shopping for all my fitness needs. Lauren has been a phenomenal personal trainer - encouraging, creative, and very thoughtful about form and safety with the equipment. I fee like my progression in lifting has been a speedy and smooth one with her guidance. She's also helping me to prepare for an active trip to Italy with her guidance for cardio training. Nicole Wade runs the Fitness for Menopause class, which I attend on Tuesday nights. It's become a bedrock for me in my lifting throughout the week, and her information about wellness, fitness, equipment, nutrition, and general energy management as it relates to menopause is clearly delivered and grounded in solid science. The wealth of information she gives us in her emails sets us up for success in our daily lives as well as in the gym. I can't sing their praises loudly enough, and you are so lucky to have these brilliant and dynamic women on your staff.
Revamp'd facilities and great staff.
I just use the gym and appreciate the renovation. I joined before the renovation and it's a great improvement

Classes for all ages and abilities - terrific atmosphere- feels great to be there - staff and members so friendly and helpful -
The vibe is all-inclusive. Members are respectful and considerate and all shapes, sizes and abilities are welcome. The facilities are almost always very well-maintained and locker rooms are clean. Some of the people staffing the matrix machine area are excellent and intervene when I need some help before I even have to ask.

Everything. The instructors are fantastic and so is the variety of classes. Virtual classes are a bonus. So is the good sound system. Love the new gym with lots of light.

I like the programs that engage members and help them realize their physical potential. The social component is important also
Professional team and also all the Instructors beyond theirs classes they also kindly taking care the members keeping safe at the facilities.
Nice sense of community connection. Kids stay active and counselors seem engaged.
