I have two recommendations
Leave the shower curtains hanging instead of folding them on the hooks. When you fold them they build up mold and then you have to replace them more often. You can save money by doing this.
The other idea is to teach the lifeguard how to turn on the sauna from the office. It is never working correctly.

I think there a lot of great things about the Lynn Y. I think this questionnaire is appreciated as I think the biggest area for concern is addressing feedback. When the gym was closed last summer - I put numerous questions through voice messages and on line to manager - and not once did I receive the decency of a response. I generally go early for spin - and the lady at the front desk is friendly and awesome. That said - she is the only person I encounter at the front desk who will even say hello or goodbye. The soap dispensers in men's showers are frequently empty for days at a time - does anyone check this? I do not know if this is outsourced - but it should be checked each day to make sure the cleaning is proper. "Modesty" policies are posted - but there are a few guys - one in particular who hang out at the sinks in full nude for prolong periods. I think the sinks are a common area and someone should be able to brush teeth or shave without someone's junk hanging out. If it is a policy - enforce it. As someone who grew up in Dorchester, I treasure the gym - and love the steam. The gym serves a diverse population and does it extremely well.
