The gym in Venice, FL closed in early March 2020 due to Covid-19. It did not reopen before I returned to KY in mid-April and there is no longer a YouFit where I live in KY. Because of Covid I decided not to join a gym in 2020. Because of my age I will reevaluate the Covid-19 situation in January 2021 and may consider joining YouFit at that time.

I am a snowbird. So my membership is always seasonal. I live in Canada so cannot use Youfit there.
I didn't cancel during the shutdown, expecting to use the gym as soon as we were allowed. However, when you did reopen, it just didn't seem safe. You had protocols in place for masks on entry, signing without touching, lots of cleaning. Yet there were small crowds of members working out, enjoying each others' company, not wearing masks (nobody wants to while working out) and not even trying to social distance. It was late in the day, so I was able to find a treadmill not near anyone else, but I couldn't see how I would be able to use the weight machines without taking unnecessary risk. I had a lime card membership which was valuable for Tampa Bay travel and for out of state travel.

I feel like we’ve flattened the curve enough. Social distancing is being practiced. I think if hair salons and dine in restaurants can be open..I think gyms can. Looking forward to getting back into a workout routine.
Youfit does a great job keeping the facility clean.
 
   
  
I am at very high risk for the Covid-19, and I was unwilling to take the chance. I know that you clean the gym really well, and that you took a lot of trouble to protect your members, but I just could not risk it.
I will ABSOLUTELY rejoin when this virus is over with. I trained with David Greene who was marvelous, and will go back to him as soon as I can. The staff at the Venice branch was wonderful - friendly and efficient.
