The corona virus.
Moving out of state.
I am sure precautions will be taken at this site
Limited capacity
No time limit and no mask. Enforcing common sense hygiene for the members using equipment without going overboard.
I am confident that you fit will take all the precautions needed. I will do my part as well.
The ability to get back in to some sort of normalcy is needed - especially with exercising routines, most importantly accountability which I haven't been the best at doing home workouts.
As long as staff members continue cleaning, just as they were prior to closure due to COVID-19, I would feel perfectly comfortable. However, we all know additional precautions will be our new normal for some time. My biggest concern is that YouFit will severely limit capacity, as well as a time limit, so members won't have the opportunity to get their normal/routine workouts in each month. How will you continue to charge every member the same price monthly if we're not able to use the facilities as often as we used to?
Signed...one anxious member ready to get back to the gym!
By following the procedure guidelines, the new normal with mask, ppe etc. with distance space
I saw something about having classes outside the facility. Might be feasible with limited equipment and an admonishment to bring water. It will be hot and humid very soon. Not sure all classes (especially those making use of chairs) could be accommodated.
More importantly, what makes me feel uncomfortable? I like the Silver Sneakers classes but am concerned about the number of participants if held indoors. Under normal circumstances I can only attend on certain days because of other commitments. If class size is limited, who gets to attend? Could there be more frequent classes? How will that be managed in an equitable manner? And, of course, how would that affect leader pay?
What is the "make-up" of the clientele at my club? Can you plot when different demographic groups are historically more likely to be there? I.e., do 20-30 year olds make up the majority of the clients in the early, early hours and the evening hours? Same for 50-70 year olds. Or 40-50 year olds? Could attendance be "regulated" by days of the week/hours by demographic to even-out attendance?
I don't know, and I do not envy you for having to figure it out.
By having a 10- 15 person max allowed in the gym at one time. Appt only. Extra staff to help clean.
