Encouraging and challenging
Personal training is the best thing i have done in my battle with Multiple Sclerosis. My trainer, Mo understands my disease and takes the time to help me with my shortcomings. I would recommend to anyone needing development regardless of their situation.

Variety of options
I love water aerobics. I had knee replacement and ankle reconstruction surgery, so water aerobics is the best exercise for me. We don't have a paid instructor, so we can talk while we exercise, and once a month, we have brunch after class to celebrate anyone who had a birthday that month. So, in addition to exercise, we get socialization, a plus at our age.
Recently, a change was made to pay for the water aerobics classes for three months at a time, instead of remembering to do so monthly. I appreciate this new policy.
Most of us in the class wish the pool water was a bit warmer, but that is the only negative of a wonderful program.
The very friendly staff and the variety of work out classes!
Water is excellent for people who have arthritis or are overweight!. But you need more classes for the 11:00 class on M-W-F in Reidsville. 12 is the limit and that’s almost too many. I love the leader- Eleanor but there needs to be more choices. Thank you for asking my opinion.
I can come and work out not worried that someone will look at me strange or treat me without respect. At the Y everyone is treated equal no matter the color of your skin or size. We are all there for the same reason. I love it.
Personal trainer
The staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment in the fitness center is usually adequate for the number of people using it and has recently been upgraded. The cost is more than reasonable.
I really appreciate the classes- Zumba Gold, HIIT/Core, Barre. Mo, Meredith and Emily are the best!
The pool is really nice too.
I love the classes, love my aquatic class.love the Y, meeting people and doing different activities.
