I love the flexible hours of the open swim, the downtown branch is a state of the art facility. There is something for the whole family to do at once. The gym facility is great, with many options for machines and free weights. The staff is nice and accommodating. The only thing that is kind of annoying is parking, but the YMCA validates it, so the hassle to park is worth it at the end of the day.
Steam and sauna room, strength and cardio training, and boot camp class.
Small class sizes and instructors who connect with the kids have kept us coming back over and over. My kids made great progress here and love to swim now.

You offer a good mix of programs for me & my wife. We also like to bring the Grand kids in for a swim when they are on town. I especially like being greeted very early in the AM by Julie & Rose when I arrive for Spin. Keep up the great workđź‘Ť.

Wonderful program with Bonnie and all the instructors. My grandson required special classes until he could overcome his anxiety. That was provided for him and it worked! He is now back in group classes. He and I go together for play time on days without lessons.
I like that private family restrooms are available. I would recommend more hooks for hanging clothes and towels while changing. We try to use them as I do not really like taking him into the women's restroom. He is only age 7 but still.....it's better not to. I'm old fashioned.
We have been so pleased with everything. His confidence is growing and his behavior is better at school. I truly believe it's because of swimming.
The instructors are great with the kids. My child has significantly improved through out each lesson.

The aquatics instructors are very, very patient with the kids. They are fun, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and patient. I highly recommend the aquatics program and team members.

Daughter looks forward to swim lessons and has been doing them for three years. She loves the teachers.
My daughter, age 3, was very, very reluctant (in tears) for the first two swim classes, but both instructors, encouraged the process and were extremely supportive. She didn't cry at any following lessons, and she is loving her time in the water. I feel so grateful seeing her learning water safety and plan to continue with the stages of swim lessons to improve her confidence and abilities.

Everything about the swimming program is great! The staff and instructors are amazing, their teaching style is awesome. They don't push the children too hard. They're very caring, helpful and good at getting children used to & comfortable in the water. I definitely recommend the YMCA/BLS PNS. In fact, even though I have local options, I drive an hour each way 2x a week to bring my daughter here so, that should say something about it.
