The Senior fitness class
I belonged to "Y Up the Hill". Beside the beautiful building and great equipment, the staff is wonderful. My trainer, Tammy McKinnon has been an inspiration as I have followed her program for the past seven months. The MWF Aerobics class is lots of fun. I'm so grateful that I live one-half block from the best place in town. Thanks to everyone for making such a positive change downtown.

I like that you all have a kid zone where they can be watched while going to the gym and I like the pool area that you all have for the kids and for the adults. Thank you all for what you do!
The facility, the spin class, the pool!
The building was hot when I attended. I'm not sure if there were HVAC issues, but it felt to be about 80F inside. Putting that aside, this facility is fairly stocked in machines and dumbells. The only things I didn't see was a shoulder lift, and ab twist machines. Otherwise, it's spacious, was mostly empty (convenient), and the tall windows allow plenty of natural light in. The light makes it feel less stale, more welcoming, and I enjoyed being able to see outside.
I enjoy every second to take my daughter to her swim class at the YMCA. They have excellent teachers that patient with kids and I enjoyed every time I go there.
Morgan Perceval is highly professional, motivated and trained to head up the Parkinson’s boxing class. She takes a personal interest in each of her participants and makes certain each one receives the special attention they need.

My son really enjoys the counselors and the new friends he's made at his afterschool program. The program offers help with homework and reading. And I really appreciate the extra help he's receiving.
