I moved to Huron County two years ago from BC and was delighted to discover that Goderich is the home to such a stunning facility. I attend the Y three times a week and use the pool and the gym. Variety
Things have improved drastically with the new general Manager, Mike and Roo. Classes run, staff seem much happier and the whole place seems lighter.
It's a great testament to what a change in leadership can do because the last managers were quite awful to deal with.
I usually cancel my membership for the summer but it's such a different place now, I've decided to keep it!
I enjoy the selection and cleanliness of the cardio/weights room. I also enjoy the pool area, especially the sauna and hot tub. The people are all friendly. I do recommend the Y to people quite often. The one thing I would change is to have the showers temperature be adjusted like a regular shower. There were times the water was too cold in the winter and now that the weather is warmer, the showers are too hot. People should be able to set the temperature they want.
Love the Aquafit and the programs I have done. The instructors are fabulous, patient .and great at what they teach. The pools, hot tubs and Sauna are immaculate and either being repaired or working beautifully.

Rnjoy the Huff N Puff senior mens hockey program. Nice facility, great staff. Staaf Irene and Sherry are exceptional, kind helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
My membership covers the activities that I want, which are the weight room and gym. All staff are helpful, and the facilities and equipment are great.
The skating rink is available with membership. Workout facilities are clean and well equipped.
I like that you have increased the hours of the lane swim on weekdays.

Daily Aquafit!
I have been in the Health Hearts Program from 2004 until 2019 which I am hoping that this program would carry on. We had to pay for each month but this was a small amount to pay for guidance and safe help. May 9th was my first time to attend which I appreciated the new program. I hope this extends past the six month period.
Friendly staff, especially on the front entrance. Good gym. Easy parking and accessibility.
I love your effort to offer programs etc that suit your members & community. Specifically, I have valued greatly the increase in adult lane swim times and hiring of lifeguards to meet the demand. Also enjoy the clean, safe environment at the Goderich branch. Awesome place!
