The classes especially strength and stretch.
lots of variety
I like the every program
Everything is really Good. Thanks
The swimmable program is highly beneficial for children with special needs. The instructors are dedicated to understanding each child's unique requirements and are willing to implement various strategies to support their learning experience. Additionally, they collaborate closely with the child’s ABA service provider to ensure a comprehensive approach. Quiet time is also offered as an option to accommodate individual needs. I am optimistic that the program will continue to evolve and become even more enriching in the future.- First name removed
I love how all my kids can do something different at the same time. Always have welcoming staff. Make a special effort to make the children feel comfortable. Wish there was lane swimming available during lesson times, so I could swim too.
It was good. I developed a good diet. Instructions were helpful. But it should be more child friendly.
Staff is lovely
Variety, great instructors, informative. Clean facilities.
However, aquatics needs more classes!
I like the inclusive vibe it offers. Families , people of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds etc.
I really enjoy the yoga program both chair and regular yoga - most of the instructors are very good. I can say the same for Aquafit.
The aquafit classes
Like the facilities and hours of service
There’s plenty of equipment so no waiting
Friendly staff and volunteers
I come purely for the Group Power . I don’t do any other activity, Analise is absolutely fantastic! If not for her class, I would have no reason to have a membership.
Have started with aquafit and both instructors have been fabulous! Would love to have access to a steam room and hot tub at this facility.
Good variety? Senior-friendly, great! Pool!, good location in a community-centre facility.
I like the walking track and the work out equipment
I attend the Startech Y. I joined YMCA mainly for the yoga program. Recently there are less options available to me but I understand that staff changes which affect this. The one thing that is frustrating for me (and other seniors) is when there are hockey tournaments and parents allow their children to run freely on the walking track. This has caused a number of safety issues. There should be either a staff member or volunteer on hand during the tournaments to remind parents it’s their responsibility to oversee their children while at the centre. There are also groups that meet (in meeting rooms) throughout the week which also adds more people and car traffic and so the older people are forced to navigate traffic both inside and in the parking lot. And this can be difficult when trying to find a parking spot as well.
Swimming is great. Schedule of times for lane and free swimming great.
I like the Aquafit classes…..a good workout.

Love the pool and love the fact it's close to our home.
Amazing place , I love it because I can bring my kids to the day care while I do my workouts , the stuff is very nice and friendly my kids always seem happy , I would love for some more equipment at the gym is a little limited because they don’t have some important machines, but they have some you can still do all your workouts ! I love the gym , the area , the pool they have everything for you to have a nice time and family !!
variety
The people.
I find the aquafit classes to be excellent. Generally, the instructors are very good. I have recommended it to friends. The only problem is that it is too popular.
I just attend aquafit. I get a good workout with 3 of your instructors.
Clean , friendly, easy to attend and rarely cancelled. Knowledgable instructors, and reasonably priced.

aqua fit is good although many of the instructors I think do not use the microphone they wear properly they tend to feel they have to speak really loudly. This often distorts the clarity of the sound and can be difficult to understand. The acoustics in there of course echo. I do not have any hearing problems but I have discussed this issue with a few people and they agree with me. May I suggest that all the instructors get together and take turns instructing the other instructors who are in different locations in the pool and give their thoughts. Perhaps include a couple of members with hearing aids as well. Otherwise it is very enjoyable..
