First of all I appreciate the cleanliness of the Healthy Living Center, the friendly and helpful staff, and using the app to schedule activities.
My favorite is the indoor pool at the Healthy Living Center! I enjoy water exercise and walking laps the most. Both really help me manage my diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis!
I also enjoy the Tai Chi sessions for those same reasons as well as improving my balance.
I’m looking forward to the pandemic and winter to be over so I can get involved in more of the “social activities offered, such as the crafts, art, and bingo!
The variety but need more cardio classes.
I absolutely love the the group swim exercises classes. The instructor is so motivating and cheerful. I look forward to attending to going the class every week. I was very timid about join the group, but I really am pleased about how clean the facility is and how friendly the staff are... I would recommend this place to anyone.

There is a variety of exercise equipment to use and the heated pool.
I would be lost without the warm water therapy pool. Its the only thing that keeps my arthritic body moving.
I love the warm water pool and lots of open swimming time. Line dancing class is fun and the instructors are the best. The fitness room is really nice with lots of equipment to use. I highly recommend the YMCA Wellness Center. And I like no kids there LOL
there are numerous different types of exercising, my favorite is the warm water pool; Deb is a great instructor and like the free time also for water walking and exercising. The facility is very clean and everyone makes you feel welcome.
As a person with arthritis, I appreciate the therapy pool and some of the equipment in the gym that is similar to what you see at a physical therapy office.
Chair yoga class, senior strength ckass , pool class, water volleyball & of course the warm pool . also enjoy bingo

Great instructors and a good variety of different types of classes! Also a Great fitness room and equipment!
LOVE, the heated pool for exercise programs. They fill up so fast however. Maybe expand programs so more seniors can take advantage. Laurie is top notch as an instructor
I love the warm water for therapy. I haven’t been able to take classes lately because I had my knee replaced. However, before I loved the step class, yoga and aerobics. Mindy and Peg are awesome snd make the classes fun. We are so blessed to have this facility in our town!.
Access on our schedule to the fitness room. Cheerful greetings everyday from staff.

Like the pace of the classes I take. Do really miss some of the ones like cardio drumming that are not being done right now.

I like the programs offered for those in the age range 55 and over. And now that I am retired I am able to participate more.

The pilates class that Luwana has on Tuesday & Thursday is just what I need to get my core strength back. Also, I am building my muscle strength back up. Luwana is a great teacher. Love her class!
I don't usually recommend businesses to friends, which is the only reason I didn't give you a perfect 10. I love the Y! I had been going to the Downtown Omaha Y but they were having problems so I gave this one a try and love it! The staff are friendly and helpful, the members are considerate with one another, the place is clean and welcoming, the temperature in the pool area and in the water are delightful! I just couldn't be happier.
Nice Atmosphere
My wife and I would come to the healthy living center to dance every week until the covid outbreak. We now come in to practice dance and to say hello to the people there. The Y has always been a place that we feel good to come to for exercise and to meet friends.
I have only done the machines, a little nervous about classes! I like the spacing and easy use of the gym area

You have the equipment and facilities I need to maintain my desired fitness levels and it's always encouraging to be around others doing the same. Those things are what's made the Healthy Living Center a regular and consistent part of my life for almost 7 years.
