There's a good variety of classes
I really like the water aerobic classes. I dislike that the pool is closed during the holiday break when our children are home from school. Maintenance should NOT be over the holiday break!!
The Sarpy Y has classes anytime so no excuses for not working out.
I like the variety of classes even though I have not participated in too many. They seem to have something for every age and ability level.
All instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of classes to choose from, although I wish there were more space for classes. Many classes I would like to take are scheduled at the same time. Also, I’d love to see a tai chi class included. I’m very happy with my Y and the people I meet there.

I can’t speak to the programs or activities. However, I do use the fitness center. I have been to other YMCAs throughout the community and country. I am impressed by the tasteful layout of the fitness center at Papillon. There is more than adequate equipment. I Especially appreciate the dead lift stations.
I love their group fitness classes. They keep me motivated. The child watch is wonderful and allows me to workout. Every employee who works there is friendly and kind.

The whole building is welcoming. Silver Sneakers Classic and Silver Circuit classes are fun and exhilarating!! The individual instructors teach everything you need to know to get started on the machines. So happy to be a member. I can’t say enough about the Sarpy YMCA. FANTASTIC!!
I love all the classes available for Senior Citizens. Tammy and Maria are the best!

The front staff are welcoming and friendly & I especially like classes taught by Maria.
I like the variety of programs available. The focus on kids sports and getting elderly people moving with their own programs.

I like that there at towels to use for our workouts and plenty of cleaning wipes to wipe down equipment.
I actually had signed up in Council Bluffs Iowa location. But since I had a membership in the past it had Sarpy as my home base? The trainer I drove to see in Sarpy is very knowledgeable and was great to work with. The Council Bluffs Y is beautiful. But honestly this location wasn’t the right fit for me. The lady that signed me in CB is super nice. If I lived in Sarpy county I would definitely have gone to that location but since I live in Council Bluffs. That location was more convenient to get to. The staff in CB was more about making sure the member is checked in than saying good morning. If I want to feel unwelcome then I guess I’ll go to the council bluffs location? If I’m going to pay almost $50 a month for a gym membership it would be nice to get a tour of the gym and a refresher on the equipment so I know how to use the equipment for the location I would be working out at. But that’s ok. I’m not upset just a little discouraged as I’m trying to get back in to my workout routine.
The instructors are fantastic, they go out of their way to ensure everybody is getting something out of the class. also the facility is alway clean, front staff always helpful
I just swim, but I really like the facilities. No complaints. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
