Group Fight is fabulous! Just started and loved both instructors I had.
I like the pace and available time slots for the group classes. All of the instructors and participants are easy to interact with.
How many different option and times are available with your many locations.
It’s never over packed with people. People are friendly, facility is clean.
Yoga instruction very good
The instructors are great very much enjoy all the programs
Availability of yoga.
Staff at desk is welcoming.
Pool, while small and a bit dated, is a good fit for those with limited mobility are in search of a more intimate setting for swimming. (I prefer a larger pool for laps but have enjoyed the watching how people interact and build friendships when I have used the Maple Street pool.)
my daughter really enjoys going to ymca.
All the different activities - there is physical exercise, educational activities, swimming, new experiences (field trips, guest speakers), and downtime to make friends and learn new skills. My son (8) learns something new every week - last year he learned how to draw different characters (Among Us, Spongebob, etc) that he still loves to draw and this summer he learned how to play chess!
He loves this camp and looks forward to it every summer, especially the water days! As a mom, I love the emails I get before camp that lays out their schedule and all the fun stuff they will be doing. It helps me to be prepared in what he needs to bring, and I can ask him about specific activities I know he did that day - he gets so excited to tell me the details.
I also appreciate YMCAs flexible hours for drop off/pick up as schedules can change and it's a relief to know that he can be with friends in a safe environment if that happens. The YMCA also provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks - which is such a help during busy mornings. As a bonus, he is exhausted by the end of the day and falls asleep as soon as he is in bed!
Next year my daughter will be old enough to attend and she has already expressed how excited she is to go the same camp as her brother.
Thank you, YMCA! Your program leaders, helpers, and camp teams have always been so kind, helpful, and genuine - as a working mom, your camp is a life saver and I recommend it to everyone I know!
They are always busy doing something fun!
I love the Silver Sneakers program. It really helps me and the instructor is very good. Also have made some nice freinds there, too.
Alot of activities. Alot of outside time. Field days every week. The program sticks to the food groups for feeding times. Communication is awesome.
We moved to California and would like to join the YMCA over here . Thanks
I love having a schedule provided. I also really like the teachers who put forth effort to make a relationship with the kiddos not just be a teacher.
