Variety of classes
I love the men’s fitness center. Steam room and sauna are the best part of my day. I also love the many choices of workout equipment on the first floor.

A great variety of activities and pleasant instructors, the time frame of the group classes are great for retired seniors.

I swim there 3 times a week but do not participate in programs or activities. The staff and other members are cheerful and friendly.
A weekly Weight Training meeting with Beth Trecek is my primary use of the YMCA. Have used the pool in the past. I like the opportunity to attend classes and swim.
Great facility and staff!
I like that field trips are offered once a week and swimming is 3 times a week. Since I have had children attending the last 6 years. This year the field trips have not been that great. A lot of trips to spraygrounds. Previous years I feel like I was kept more informed about the weekly events in the email without having to check the board. Overall the staff are great and I would recommend.
I’ve only been to Downtown a few times to take group fitness classes through Dan. He is a fantastic teacher! Calm, precise, meaningful in his moves. He gets new guests names and says hello as we enter. That is appreciated. I’ve taken 2 types of classes and feel the teaching is superb in both!

Swimming 3 days a week
I love that the kids are able to swim three times a week, and have at least 1 field trip per week. I love that lunch and snacks are provided for. Everything is included in the very reasonable camp fees. I love that i am able to see their daily and weekly schedules, making it easier for parents to engage.
Love how the kids keep active, go on fun field trips and have lots of gym and pool time!
We love the variety of activities and field trips and the chance for the campers to swim and expend lots of energy!
My son describes that the counselors are fun and interactive. They greet him by name when he arrives in the morning. He enjoys getting to swim three days a week and really looks forward to field trips and more. I like the check in and check out procedures from a safety lens. I also appreciate that meals are provided.
Each visit to the pool at the downtown YMCA is happyness for me, I do my PT exercises first and later I do my backstroke and strength workout. The ymca is very clean,friendly and very well managed
Good selection of equipment and classes. Dan is a great instructor!! Would like to see a few more cycling classes during the lunch hour.
The pool and staff
I like how my baby was so calm and how he got around people and didn't cry every 5 seconds I appreciated how the daycare providers engaged with my son and how professional they both were.
It's secure, set aside and my daughter liked playing with the caretakers and other kids.
Convenient times and availability
I am amazed what I can do 9 years after cervical surgery. Toni is awesome.
The facility
Dan (TBC teacher), in addition to being an excellent teacher, is incredibly supportive and helpful. He makes every new person feel that they are welcome and in the right place.
