Everyone was very nice and organized and treated my children well

They did not love the full day program, though. They said they were bored

But it’s very convenient and the price is good, overall we are very happy

They are so caring and attentive! And communication with parents is open and honest! ☺️

My daughter has been at YMCA Evergreen for two years now and I am so grateful for the experiences she has, the friendships she builds, and the quality of care she receives from staff. The YMCA is truly an exceptional program and I would highly recommend the Evergreen Elementary location as well as the Midlothian Coalfield Rd Branch during school closures/breaks and Summer Camp!

Keeps my son occupied and engaged in the morning before school. He loves going everyday and always talks about new things he is doing. The staff are great and really care about the kids. I'm confident that he well taken care of during his time there

WE love the YMCA for before & after care. This is the 2nd year we have attended at Evergreen. Also, we loved the summer camps at the Y. But to focus specifically on Evergreen Mr Spencer and Mr James are absolutely amazing. We loved Ms Tonya last year but I dont think she is there this year. Spencer goes out of his way to explain things to me as a parent, i.e. issues w other kids, pick up questions, snacks, etc. Anything that I need to know, he keeps me updated. He is friendly & kind. There have been times when the kids aren't always super nice to him (per what my child has mentioned) so I hope that can be addressed from other staff. I am sure it was/has been. But Spencer is one of a kind, so respectful, patient & genuinely loves working with the children afterschool. My son gets upset if I pick him up "too early" because he loves the games, activities and fellowship. No concerns or issues whatsoever. Thanks!!

Absolutely LOVE both YMCA before & after care as well as holiday days and summer camp. No matter the age the kiddos seem to have a bunch of fun at a very affordable cost!

After school program and swim program

My 9 years old son who is in the before school program, likes to go there even when there's no school.
He likes to play and do the activities.

Spencer and Renee are amazing and great with the kids. They are excellent at their jobs!

I like that my child feels comfortable with all the staff members. She has never complained about the staff at all. She loves it there.

I like that our program is school-based. I like how happy my grandchild is at the Y programs. I very much like the extension of the program for school closures and breaks. The counselors are great ... knowledgeable and sensitive to the childrens' needs and feelings. I like how safe I know my grandchild is. This list could actually go on and on.
