The director does so much for the kids at this child care site than any other director ever has and for that I am so grateful. It is so nice to enjoy the monthly family nights at the YMCA, the kids love Camp Saponi and there are so many activities at the camp and during the before/after school and when school is out. The kids are always kept busy and activities are always fun, my kids always come home talking about what all they did. I highly recommend this childcare facility. They go above and beyond and there is alot of care shown with the kids.

The YMCA’s child care program is awesome because it offers a ton of fun activities that has helped my son learn and grow! The mixture of sports, arts, and educational games, keeps things exciting for my son.

Additionally, it’s a great way for him to make friends and develop social skills.

I love how my daughter is welcomed in every morning to start her day for school and is transported to and from school safely.

We love Ms. Shantese! That's what we like about the programs and activities!

Shantese and all the counselors are incredible. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the people in this program. I don't know what we would do without them!

My son loves the activities, from arts and crafts to Gaga Ball. The staff is excellent especially Shantese Harvey, she is awesome.

I appreciate the organization if the program and the individuals work work onsite to make it a great experience for my child.

The staff are extremely nice! They always update me on the status of my child, whether good or bad. They keep my child as organized as possible. Pick up and drop off is a breeze.

It keeps the kids active and they are always learning new things.

I love the new site director and all the activities she creates for kids. She is very responsible and accountable; I am happy we found a center where my son can enjoy outdoor and indoor activities, sports, educational activities and more. . My son loves this center and I recommend it to family, coworkers and friends.

Ymca child care is the most reliable chilcare that my child ever been in .Last monday (april 29th) i found my daughter on tears ,right next to her 2 ymca counselors and one parent try to calm Ella down because another parent yelled at my child and leave her scared and crying .as soon as i get there the director immediately contacted the mom and proceeded correctely with what happen.i felt very protected by the day care group with how fast they handled this situation .Thank you to all of you for all the hard work !

I really love the way the Ymca is. The director is the very best I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Every counselor there really makes an effort to do the right thing by each child. I will them all already! We will have to visit! Thank you all for restoring my faith in people. I couldn't ask for more . My grands couldn't either..

The YMCA is a great, affordable childcare program for before and after school. The staff at the Midlothian Y are always friendly and knowledgable. My kids come home happy and excited to show me what they've done with their time there.

The director is amazing! Since Shantese has taken over, you can see the major improvement in all things from activities to the smiles on the kids faces. Keep up the good work.

Family nights are great always great activities for the kids. Very fun safe environment. Shantise is a phenomenal site Director.

The staff will assist with helping my child study, quiz my child before their test if we were unable to at home, and help with homework if needed. They do activities, plan family nights each month, and keep my child engaged. We attended last year and I just wasn't impressed with how it was run. This year I couldn't find another facility that transported to their school so we had to attend the Y again. THANK GOODNESS we returned!!! The price went up this year, but this year the price is worth it!! Would recommend to everyone! The only thing that would make it perfect is to team up with Becca in sports so the kids can go from child care to sports once or twice a week. I am even fine with paying separate for the sports activities if they can take her to the sports practice!

The programs that YMCA has to offered are goo because my son gets to have fun and enoyed them. When he comes home every day after the Y he is happy to tell me what her learn and did at the Y. The staff at Midlothian Y are doing a great job, thank you for all you do for my son.

My daughter absolutely loves attending the Y programs, especially summer camp!

Shantese is amazing and I get the impression the rest of the staff is as well. Our son can be difficult (stubborn, rude, inappropriate) and the staff keeps welcoming him and helping him grow. We know that he is safe and that's what is important to us.
