The YMCA at Ridge is it a good place for your child or children after school program. The teachers are very good and willing to work with your kids. I want to say thank you to all of the staffs and continue the good. God bless you all.

I like that the after school program comes to my child’s school so there is no need for transportation. I appreciate the communication we receive and the teachers are great! Ms. Kelly and the other teachers always provide updates about my child/their day, at pick up. My child also enjoys being in the Y after school program and sometimes asks to go more days than we need her to.

I have found that the YMCA after school care for Ridge Elementary has been extremely helpful in navigating my kids needs. They are very understanding towards neurodivergent children and what is the best course of action to help them be successful in emotional regulation, problem solving, learning new skills, as well as having fun with others. I feel safe having my children there and I know they are well cared for. I appreciate the communication between the school staff, YMCA staff, and guardians so there is consistency across the board. I feel that they have a lot of empathy in a time where not everyone affords that to others. I would definitely recommend them as a child care provider to other parents and guardians. Thank you!

The counselors have always taken a tremendous amount of time and understanding with my son who really needs to build trust to feel comfortable. Kelly even went the extra mile and got him headphones since the loudness sometimes bothers him. I have been very happy the last 3ish years

The YMCA is a great place for your child or children to be. The staff are very friendly and understanding. MS Kelly is a wonderful employee and always willing to help you in anyway she can.

My daughter absolutely loves it!! Everyday when I come to pick her up, she beg for just 5 more minutes.

Everyone is so sweet and nice at the Y. My daughter really loves going there every day after school she loves all the activities they do. I love the fact that they teach them and help them with their work. I will recommend the YMCA to everyone.

The teachers are SO patient and really take the time to learn and work with kids personalities.

This is our 2nd go around with the Y and we are much happier with the care providers this go around. We have had some behavior issues with our son that I certainly hope he has corrected and I feel like the providers have done a good job understanding him and communicating. He also seems like he is having a good time when I pick him up each day.
