Both kids are doing so well! They love going to tutoring. They’re encouraged by staff and all the prizes they can work towards.
I think they are great! My daughter noticed a difference within a few days. The process is start from the beginning and work their way up to the students current grade level. However, my daughter is in 7th grade. I wish she was getting help for her current grade level as well to help her get better grades now.
I am so glad I found Mathnasium of Vista, both my son and daughter have enjoyed going…I know shocking right?!? Enjoy doing math for 1 hour 3 times a week? In fact yes they do, they move at their own pace and my son likes working with Huey and has a smile on his face every time I pick him up. I can tell it’s challenging them, but also building their confidence.

My daughter has improved tremendously. She was a few grade levels behind and now she is at grade level and above most in her class.
Vista Mathnasium has been so great for my daughter. She actually looks forward to going in for her lessons. More importantly, she does not feel the "pressure" that often holds her back from learning because she is learning at her own pace with the help of wonderful tutors.

It's a great place where they motivate students to work towards prices. I like that you can take them up to 3 times a week for an hour. My daughter loved going there.
Mathnasium has been a great experience for my daughter. It is really helping to build her foundational math skills that she has struggled with for years.
We started at Mathnasium to supplement our children's virtual learning. The only subject I was really concerned about was math as it is a gatekeeper subject to many high paying careers. I think the best result is that my kids don't struggle in math. They actually like math and are getting A's in math at school. They enjoy going to the learning center and like the positive reinforcement. When it was time to return to in person learning at school I gave my kids the choice to continue or not. The chose to continue, that speaks volumes. My daughter especially likes getting the highest scores on her tests.
Kris is very helpful understands students and how they progress a what is necessary for them to succeed.

My 6 year old enjoys going and seems engaged. He won't tell me what he works on there but I was happy to see a progress report in my email so now I know. Tutors seem very nice. My son got his first prize yesterday and he was really proud. It seems covid safe. I love the plastic dividers and it's not crowded. Also like how parents aren't supposed to be hanging out inside. Zero complaints. I think it's great.

Super program that met the needs of our child where she was- this provided an excellent refresher during the summer to help get her ready for high school.

My grandson was struggling with algebra, and even though I had a full year of calculus in college, I could not remember a thing! LOL I found Mathnasium through Yelp and what a game-changer! He's getting caught up and learning why he is doing what he is doing! My stress level is greatly reduced and so is his.
Kris at your Mathnasium Vista Village location is absolutely excellent. In September of 2020, we talked extensively about the effectiveness of attending Mathnasium 2-3 times a week to get my freshman caught up from a year of not understanding the required subject; the same a coach of a sports team would to any parent of an athlete. Practice makes perfect. I couldn't agree more.
Since starting Mathnasium Vista Village late September 2020; 3 times a week, my daughter went from going to Mathnasium as a side effect of not understanding the subject, to looking forward to going to Mathnasium. The comprehension, the appreciation for the subject and the new confidence my kiddo has - can all be attributed to Mathnasium.
