I first noticed a disconnect in math with my daughter during her virtual learning year. Her teacher acknowledged it the following year and we started (virtual) tutoring sessions which honestly weren't all that effective. By this year, her grades were moving in the wrong direction and her confidence was taking a big hit. Since signing up with Mathnasium, her grades are improving and her curiosity and confidence in math is returning. She loves the 'ticket' system for prizes and feels a personal sense of accomplishment with each page in her notebook that she completes.
