The staff have done the best they could under the recent conditions of the pandemic to offer the best opportunity for people to enjoy the YMCA.

I like everything about the Y except that you are not checking to see if members are vaccinated when not wearing masks. I think this is so important for a workout area. Don't you.

The staff is the best and the equipment is kept in great shape. That combined with the work you all do for the community, I'd rate the South Oakland YMCA an 11 if I could!

The front desk personnel gives you a friendly greeting and are very helpful. The exercise classes instructors are wonderful, energetic and provide options for those who have difficulty with certain moves/poses.
