Staff is lovely and the facilities are clean. We enjoy it.
My personal experience has been very good and very healthy.
My daughter LOVES her swimming class and looks forward to going every week. She is learning new strokes and is gaining more confidence in her abilities as a swimmer. She just learned how to dive into the water from the pool edge and is now working on diving from the blocks. She is nervous but excited and gets the perfect amount of encouragement and support so she is able to feel successful.
Private swim lessons with Brendan Gookin are the best!
if that is the swim lessons iot is great....otherwise we go at times on Sat and Sun and it is wonderful also!!

The staff is wonderful! They are friendly and kind and my daughter loves going to the aftercare program. She even asked me to start picking her up later so she could play longer! The only thing that has been tough is there has been a big staff turnover this year. We miss Will and Sarah but look forward to getting to know the new team better!

I forget the maintenance lady’s name but she keeps everything so clean. Friendly staff all around. All the kids who show up are well behaved and the majority of members respect the equipment. It’s just a nice place over all.
The staff is amazing, and the facility has everything we want….swimming, complete fitness center, classes, and personal training.

Teachers are great, they foster a great learning/playing/growing environment. Also love that they go to the pool for swim. Hours are convenient and the fees are fair, also really appreciate that there are very few "no school days" at the y.
I could not ask for a better group of ladies to have my children every day. Jen is absolutely the best, very understanding and flexible. Miss Ruthie and Miss Cece are great with the toddlers and you cannot get a better preschool teacher than Miss. Missy. All three of my children have gone since they were 8 weeks old and I know bringing them to the ELC @ the Y was the best decision!

The swim 2 a week and splash pad in summer. Going to the gym once a week to play games, and the science projects the teachers do. Overall, such a great experience.

The Ipswich Y is very well equipped for smaller facility (I also spend time at the Beverly Y). Afternoons during the school year are difficult due to the influx of school kids and their propensity for hanging around and occupying the equipment while not actually using it. Fortunately my schedule is flexible and mornings are a reasonable alternative for me.
I love the Y. I bring my 7 year old Grandson Liam and he really loves going. He goes to the Fun Friday every Friday night and the counselors are absolutely wonderful to him. Everyone is.
Liams mother died last year and bringing him to the Ipswich Y where everyone is so kind is really helping him through the grieving process.
Liam loves swimming and is working towards passing his swim test.
