I take the HydroFit classes with Scott. I am a senior and wanted to get into a structured exercise program ,to try and stay in good physical shape. Wonderful class and excellent work out. Highly recommend for all people and especially seniors with knee, and leg problems.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

It is always so welcoming. Clean, very accommodating, very pleasant staff. Variety of classes, although most classes tend to be early morning or late afternoon. Would love to see something more offered 10-1300.

It’s a great facility with so many offerings! I use a lot of the group exercise classes before work and treadmills on my days off. Everything is so clean and the staff are very friendly!

I love the YMCA, the pool is beautiful and I can always get a lane to swim laps in. In addition, they have a great selection of classes for all types of exercise enthusiasts, and I have never felt like I need to be an expert.

What do you like about our program and activities?

The staff are great. Very caring and personable. They provide a lot of fun activities and learning skills. I always feel the needs of my child is being met. Communication is very open and welcoming. My son loves coming here.

Clean, welcoming facility with many choices of group exercises. The many plants everywhere in the Sterling Y in Beverly are a wonderful addition.
