Taking an individual sport and developing a team format like you have done is awesome! For young kids, being able to golf but still have that sense and security of a team really helps them not be as intimidated when they have a tournament. Once they get some experience in PGA Jr League, they have a lot more confidence and excitement to tackle individual play tournaments.
The competition against other teams is really fun too. Plus the weekly instruction from a pro is so great when they are learning the game.
My son loves golf after this program. We are excited to do it again next year. The partner concept is great for the kids.
We absolutely loved having our son involved in PGA Jr League this year. He thoroughly enjoyed playing all the area courses. Not only did he make new friends and have fun but he also learned the rules of the game, good sportsmanship, and Comradery.
We loved our coaches! The two pros at Redhawk Idaho were amazing with kids! This program did amazing things for our daughter! They constantly encouraged her! And we watched her confidence grow. She is normally a very fearful and timid kid and we are already seeing a huge difference in her as she headed back to school. I think because she spent the summer being encouraged, has had a big contribution to that.
We had a great community and it enriched relationships with our fellow parents and our daughter made new friends. She loves the game now too! She will definitely be a lifetime golfer now

The scramble format is great at this age. We had a great coach in Pete Burton! 3 days a week is the right level of commitment.

This is a great program for the beginner golfer. This program in the Treasure Valley is great, the pro's do a great job.
All four of my grandkids have been and are a part of the PGA Junior League. It has been an incredible experience for all of them. Three will be in again next year.
