I like the team concept. My son played several competitive tournaments this year individually and these events provided a nice break from an individual sport while still competing.

Team format
My son was very young and had never really been exposed to the rules and methods of playing a round of golf. I feel the coaches did an amazing job of teaching the basics and letting the kids have fun at the same time. Golf is by far my son’s favorite sport.

PGA Jr. League is a great format and environment for kids to be introduced to golf and meet new friends to hopefully continue to play golf with. I think it is relaxed enough to not scare off beginners and competitive enough for the intermediate players to enjoy as well. My son has played the past three summers and we have all loved it.
