Consumer Testimonials
My son learned a lot about golf and had wonderful instructors. He loved being part of the PGA Jr league!
Good exposure, experience, and training. Golf is often fairly solitary and this was a good opportunity for our kids to interact with new people while playing.
Good competition and organized
The kids were all great and nice to each other. The course was great
I enjoyed the structure which allowed kids to play competitively without too much pressure. My son really enjoyed the team aspect of it.
Our son absolutely loved playing golf this past summer. It was our first time ever playing and it was something he didn’t stop talking about. Coach Joe and Coach Garin were amazing with the kids and we hope they’ll have a Fall season at Timberline starting.
It was a great learner program for my first timer. He was able to learn the game and the etiquette of the course in a fun and encouraging environment.
It really helps kids understand and learn the game. The coach is awesome, the players and parents have been great!
The format and match play style competition.
The instructions that Ms Denise offers is always fun. I like the one day of practice and play on weekends.
Kids had fun playing golf. Focus was on learning and enjoying the sport.
It allows young kids the opportunity to learn and play golf on a course that they would not or have a hard time playing on. They receive instructions from a PGA Pro. and meet other young golfers. There is nothing negative about the PGA Jr. League.
atmosphere...and teams
Instruction on the course and experience playing with other Juniors!
It’s a great program to get kids involved in golf to help maintain and grow the game. The format and coaches were great!
Great job by coahes and staff.
Team format and age appropriate tees. I like the double bogey max to keep pace of play. Our coach was outstanding and really invested in the kids.
I like the competition, camaraderie, and development my child is receiving and an early age.
That it gives kids another option beside football and baseball.
PGA Jr. League is a positive environment where kids are encouraging each other and working together. The weekly matches are a fun for the kids and their families.
I like the partner format that helps kids ease into the game as opposed to just single player stroke play.
We loved the format. It built my son’s confidence and gave him the opportunity to work with others as a team in a competitive environment. We really loved everything about it and plan to participate for as long as possible.
Great training and great on the course learning
Teamwork and learning the game from quality coaches.
Great experience for my 10 year old son as he’s becoming a more experienced golfer. The weekly practices and individual coaching was extremely helpful.
Our family appreciates the team aspect. Our son enjoys making friendships with other young golfers!
Opportunity to play and also instruction during the summer months after middle school golf team was over. We loved the instruction that we had at Hoover Country Club. My son was already excited about golf and after Jr. League I think he loved it even more. My younger son asked if he could play next summer!
The team sport aspect it brings to golf
The coaching aspect was amazing. Being able to receive high quality coaching 1-2 times a week allowed my son to truly learn the game.

Coach Glenn is very knowledgeable. His ability to work with the younger age group is phenomenal. He explains things in a way that make sense to them. My daughters love of the game increased this summer, she made new, friends, and improved her overall game. We look forward to participating in the future.
