It the greatest program for introducing juniors who are new to the game and juniors that have experience. The best thing is the team concept.
Junior league provides a great playing experience for children. It introduces them to competitive golf and since they play a scramble there is less pressure than individual competition. They also experience the social bonding that accompanies team sports.
I like that it makes golf a team sport. It allows kid of any level to play together and enjoy the game.

PGA Junior League creates excitement about playing the game and competing. Juniors have fun, make friends, improve golf skills, improve social skills, and really look forward to coming to the golf course. Families are involved in a positive golf experience, and friendships develop between all involved in the program. As a coach I try to help people learn to love the game I love, and with PGA Junior League my job is very easy.
