Coach Testimonials
We had an excellent season, 45 players, two age divisions. Finished our season with a family cup event that was very well attended and everyone had fun !
The format of a team playing scramble is the key to giving junior golfers a way to compete with out a lot of pressure.
Fantastic program giving youth a chance to compete and improve their skills. The leadership of the South Central Section was exceptional, Ginger Lemm Brown and Brian Davis ran a first class league!! We thank them for a great season!

The teamwork, the format, it is a learning tool to introduce juniors of all ages to golf. Our league has grown over the past five years. We have many players who continue to sign up from year to year and have had several players graduate out of the program.
1) Team environment
2) ability to run in house leagues
3) helps funnel golfers into other junior programs
I like the way the PGA Jr. League promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, rules, etiquette, & discipline, all while having fun and developing relationships.
Kids love it.
Great way to get out kids competing in a fun environment.
I’d give the All-Star season a 0. We need to do a better job with coordination and implementation of the these events. We also need to make sure these teams are being put together from the league that they play in. Too many super teams being put together. How do we police that and make it to where all teams have a chance.
Parents involvement with the development of the kids. Our members financial support and dedication to giving up the back nine when needed for 3 teams to play.
We have been extremely successful with our Jr. League. I think it is a great way to introduce children to golf, the Jr. League format encourages teamwork, strategy, sportsmanship and fellowship, all in a competitive environment.
Our league has grown every year.
Kids of all abilities are able to play.
The inclusive team format for all ages and skill levels of junior golfers. The beginners have just as much fun as the advanced golfers.
The parental support we receive is excellent ! The opportunity to teach young people patience, teamwork, etiquette, sportsmanship and responsibility during PGA Jr. League practices and matches is very rewarding.
Observing the improvement of players over the course of the season and developing relationships while having fun playing and learning golf and life skills is the epitome of the PGA Jr. League.

Best program ever! My kids thoroughly enjoy sporting their shirts. I am 💯 % in!
The camaraderie, teamwork and sportsmanship that the Juniors learn is so valuable. In most cases the parental involvement and support are excellent.
