Great experience for the kids!
Really like the scramble format and the friendly competition. Kids really like the swag and the jerseys. Overall a really good format. Only issue is that some teams are way more competitive and skilled.

Everything but to be more specific the feeling of a team and no pressure for the kids to perform every shot on every day. The scramble format and points system is perfect for implementing a fun environment .
There is a lot to like about the PGA Jr. League. I believe it's designed for all level of golfers, from beginners to advanced. The scramble format gives everyone the opportunity to feel special when they're shot is chosen or if their team makes a par or birdie. It also gives opportunity for the better player to be a leader and great role model to the younger or beginner golfer. The league also gives kids the opportunity to join a league with their friends and play other golf courses.

This was the first year that my course participated in the program. The kids and parents both loved it and are looking forward to the start in 2021.
It's open to all ages and ability levels. It's about having fun and learning the game of golf.
I like providing an arena for kids to learn the game while making friends and enjoying the outdoors! Having three hours where there aren't any screens or walls is extremely valuable for many of the players development in both golf and life.
