Coach Testimonials
the kids learning how to play golf in a fun setting
website was great, Chelsea Guoynes was very helpful and informative, uniforms were cool. Families enjoyed the program.
I love the low key entry into competitive golf. The reason environment is special.
We create a high school event for our 17u league and the kids love it
It is a great way to get kids involved in the game and excited about being a part of a team.
It is a phenomenal program for all levels of golfers. Beginners to competitive juniors.
Kids playing golf and families visiting the golf course is always goog
Creates a great sense of belonging for the kids.
I love getting the kids interested in golf at an early age. It also brings the parents, grandparents, siblings and extended family members to the our facility. Excellent Potential for growth in the game. Our club benefits and so does the family as a whole if they all start playing together as a result of Jr Golf. Not to Mention the potential for additional income on the lesson tee.
Introducing golf to jrs in non-intimidating way and allows them to find others who like to golf.
It helps the kids get to the golf course more often and drives revenue.
I love the community we build. It’s much bigger than golf. I love giving the kids a sport they can play the rest of their lives, and how much it’s inspired their parents and family members to play as well. I never realized what an impact I was making in our kids lives until this year. It’s an honor to be that for them.
The format and all star program is excellent.
It’s just a solid program and compliments any facility’s efforts to grow the game through youth programming.
I love that we can have kids of all skill levels participate. Doing this allows us the opportunity to look into the future of golf. Our parents are beginning to take our Adult 101 classes and the kids siblings and friends are signing up because they not only see how much fun they are having, but we almost eliminate all questions of if you need to be at a certain level to participate. With every other sport, you need to be above your teammates if you expect to play. With PGA Junior League, everyone gets to play!
I love that this program has the PGA name attached to it. I am proud to be a part of it, and it gives the kids a sense of something more special because of that attachment. They take pride in their jerseys and wear them proudly. The day they get them is one of my favorite days as a golf professional. And now that the jerseys have their names and favorite numbers makes them beam that much more. It is the cornerstone of our junior program, and we are very grateful to be a part of it!
Team atmosphere and format is great for everyone. Beginners get introduced to the game and keeping score while getting to use some of their shots. More advanced players still get the instruction and competitive experience with the matches.
The community built for our youth golfers has been tremendous for our club. The kids have shown great interest in playing golf and it has brought out more and more kids each year. Now the parents are joining the kids and playing some. It definitely has helped grow the game.
It’s just plain awesome and a no-brainer for development at any facility!
Relaxed stress free competition
GREAT PROGRAM. KIDS LOVE IT
Comradery, team atmosphere.
Jr League has been a huge success for us. It gets kids involved in golf that might not otherwise get the opportunity and gives them a passion for the game that they can carry with them their whole lives. Also I love that it gets entire families out to the course together.
Everyone plays. No one sits on the bench.
Nothing really, just depends on area and how many kids club has

It's great for the kids of all abilities. You may want to limit All-Stars to age groups similar to Little League Baseball. A kid could play up one year but no more than that. Reduce All-Star team sizes to accommodate this to maybe 6-8 which would also decrease All-Star match days pace of play, if age groups competed on separate days or sights. Pace of play at the event in Kentucky was 4 hours and heat index 100-106. The kids did not enjoy the day like they should have.
Gives us a chance to get the youth to the facility. Without the youth the party might be over soon at many facilities
It adds a whole new element of player development to our program offerings.
The flexibility as well as a program that's easy to offer to my members.
