Fantastic program. PGA makes it very easy to run. I offer spring, summer and fall. Will continue to do so in the future!
Trying to get juniors to a level where they feel motivated to work on their game with intent. Giving them a "why" to play. This program provides this opportunity. The uniforms, team concept, and excitement; all creates a mix of purpose and enjoyment.
I believe it is the fun, enjoyment, and excitement of the junior players throughout the season, from the practice formats to keep them engaged and playing matches against other local clubs. We, as golf professionals, get to see the improvement first hand as the season progresses.
good structure for beginning and intermediate kids. great introductory vehicle for membership growth. great revenue source for golf professionals and golf facilities.

PGA Junior League allows beginners and seasoned juniors to play with one another in a fun and learning competitive setting. It is exciting to see the better players working with and helping the new players learn and improve in practice and on the course.
best way to grow membership while also growing participation. It is a proven method to grow your instruction income.
It really lends itself to our Junior Golf Mission. Our goal is to get kids playing and having fun playing the game in a competitive environment
The teamwork that the older kids show with the younger kids, creating a sense of if is their own team and league.
Brings people together and it allows people to be part of a team.
One of the challenges for us, mainly Country Club Pros is the conflict with other junior golf activities at their respective clubs. Unfortunately the summer months for most of us are the times when camps, clinics and tournaments are held at our clubs. For me it’s not an issue because I’m at a public facility. Junior league is more of a priority. Thanks
The ability to make a difference in kids lives and bring people together.
a great member retention program. Opportunities for young members that are not involved with any sports to have an outlet where they can compete in a low-pressure environment.
