great program to get kids started playing a little competition.
my only complaint is the recruiting going on to win the national championship. when a private club won 2 yrs ago they had 4 jr players from my club that they recruited
I know that because it has happened for 3 out of the last 4 years in Georgia.
I will continue put all caliber players on my team. if we win our league great but more important is I want to bring more jrs to the game and experience playing with other children.

The interaction with the kids is what I like most! They seem to really want to learn and are truly engaged with what you are trying to teach them. The team aspect of PGA Jr. League is another what also makes it fun as well. Most kids grow up playing the game without recognizing and seeing how fun the team side of golf can be. All in all I think this is a great program for the growth of golf and I look forward to being apart of it for years to come!
Opportunity to provide low stress competitive environment for juniors
It's such a great way to get juniors involved and playing the game of golf. It doesn't matter what level they are, they are able to play and compete. It has also brought out parents more and we can see them playing more rounds with friends or taking out the kids for an afternoon session.
I just love everything about the program and how it gets juniors involved in the game. I have juniors who probably would not play golf, but love the PGA Junior League. Now it is my job to turn them into life long lovers of the game.

The matches are very time consuming and takes too long to play. We put a time limit on the
Matches and it did help some.
The opportunity to mix skill levels and provide a laid back competitive environment.
For our facility it has brought out the families and the kids get so excited about their jerseys. They will even wear them to school.
It gives players of all caliber's and sexes a chance and place to play in a non threatening (dog eat dog) environment.
