Junior league provides a place for junior players a fun environment for learning all while helping the PGA Professional earn additional income. It’s fun for the kids to play other facilities that they may not have the opportunity to play without something like Junior League.
PGA Junior League is what is right about junior golf. Getting kids to feel like a team, no longer putting golf as an individual sport was genius. Creating an atmosphere where kids aren't nervous that the pressure is all on them, because they have a team that is going to help them is a very encouraging way to approach the game. I have captained a team for 2 years now and my only wish is I could have played on a team like this when I was younger.
PGA Junior League is a great way for PGA professionals to easily set up their junior golf league for the summer without going through the hassle of trying to organize it all by yourself.
PGALJ is a wonderful and engaging way to get gets involved in golf. The team format, junior tee course set-up and modified rules, make this the best way for juniors to have fun playing golf.
Kids and Parents love it! Well organized, professional appearance when parents sign in to register and pay.
This program is great to help newer golfers get more tournament experience in a fun and enjoyable way.
The Team atmosphere.
The juniors love for the game is even greater because of the TEAM setting.
Great opportunity for kids to learn the game in a fun, relaxed enviornment!
We have participated in PGA Junior League for 4 years. Appreciate the original goal being that of introduction to competition. Sometimes competition gets in the way of comradery. I do hope we get new shirts this year, the same shirt two years running is silly. The parents complained loudly! Their children now have four of the same shirts. I did feel the kits have more value added this year. Our kids loved the tshirts.
Thank you for all the section help, we have terrific ambassadors for the game. Anthony and Holly in Colorado----they are the best!!
