Friendly and communicative staff! My son has been with Mathnasium for about 2 years, his grades are great and he never complains to attend the Mathnasium sessions.

The way that Mathnasium is set up is perfect. The pretest to see skills not yet mastered so they can be learned before moving on makes so much sense. So much more than just tutoring on whatever level of math they are in now. I would recommend it to anyone.

I highly recommend Northwood center. The center of director Columba is very accommodating to our kids need. Both of my kids made tremendous improvements.

My son scored 800 on his SAT math section! Thank you very much to everyone who helped him prepare. The staff are nice and friendly, and the instructors are helpful. I feel comfortable talking to Columba and Mimi. Columba, the center director, is very accommodating. She tries to reschedule my son’s lesson times with his preferred instructor several times when I needed a schedule change. Mathnasium also added material to his lesson plan whenever I requested it. Thank you again!

Great experience with Mathnasium Northwood. Columba provides lots of support and accommodations with my two kids. We have seem great improvements shortly after my two youngest kids enrolled into the program.

So far the staff has been super supportive to Luciana. Columba definitely understands the Value of customer service And definitely demonstrates encouragement and patience.

My daughter was struggling at school because of math causing drama at home, but after a few months of enrolling her in Mathnasium she started to improve and have more confidence. The program is designed to learn without more stress. Now she’s the one helping with math doubts of her sibling. Thank you Mathnasium.

It’s nice that students can practice with an instructor pretty much every day and can bring their school homework too.

This would be a 10, but the parking in the mall is terrible and should (I hope) get better once you move to the permanent digs.

The staff at Northwood, beginning but not ending with Carissa, is so attentive to my children’s’ individual needs. They build community there that is helping to build my childrens’ confidence in addition to their math skills. I recently called to check how things were progressing for my 5th grader. Mimi knew right away who she is and had very specific insight into her progress. She explained her lesson plan succinctly. She also asked targeted questions that demonstrated she wanted to partner with my daughter to address her specific needs. She offered viable adjustments to further enhance her experience. I couldn’t recommend Mathnasium on Yale more!

The manager Carissa is so wonderful and caring of my children. She really wants to make sure they are learning and progressing and takes the extra time to help them whenever they need it. She is absolutely amazing!

My son is in grade 7 and struggles with math (mostly self-confidence issues) I take him to Mathnasium at Northwood. The staff is so great and helpful that my son asks to go there without me pushing him to go. Carrisa, the branch director, is awesome and genuinely cares about the kids and their performance. She always makes the time to call and check on my son and asks if we have any questions or concerns. She worked with us to put a plan to help my son progress. Before his math final she arranged for one-on-one sessions which really helped him.
I really appreciate their efforts and highly recommend this place!

Our children really enjoy going! Their math skills are improving as a result of the assistance they’re receiving. We appreciate the open communication and feedback we receive on their progress. We would have given you a 10 if you had a payment plan. We believe more people would sign up if that was available.

The Northwood Mathnasium is incredible! We casually found them through an event they had on their Facebook page and are so happy we checked out their grand opening. The staff is kind, patient, and encouraging. The really get to know the kiddos that attend the center which helps tailor their teaching to the learning style of each student. They work will all levels of students and all capabilities, including those with special needs. My autistic child attends the center and we have seen exponential growth in his confidence and skill set. Schools so often teach memorization of math facts which didn't & doesn't work for my kiddo. Mathnasium helped give him a solid foundation for him to understand, and retain, number relationships. He's now able to independently answer questions and independently complete his homework, which prior to Mathnasium was a regular, constant battle. Thank you to all the staff, and especially to Carissa and Devin. I can honestly say because of Mathnasium, my kiddo now loves math and is thriving in school!

I like the personalized attention. The aligned math teaching with grade level is excellent. I also appreciate the flexibility in working on concepts that seem challenging at the time.
