My 12 year old was struggling with math and starting to lose confidence in her math abilities. She’s been attending tutoring sessions for about 3 months and has shown a lot of progress and is feeling much more confident. She likes going, likes the tutors and hasn’t ever complained about going (and she’s a homebody!). I recommend mathnasium to anyone I talk to with a kiddo who is struggling.

My daughter testing went for 70’s to 90’s since starting mathnasium. The staff are friendly and she always seems to have a pleasant disposition coming out of class.

The Mathnasium of East Vancouver has been nothing but the VERY best experience. Our daughter was struggling with school in a lot of ways, math included. We decided the best thing to do was get her into some tutoring and heard first hand how great Mathnasium could be, we signed up and have never looked back. From her confidence growing, to her grades improving, to her all around feeling better in her own skin, we couldn't have asked for a better program to help our daughter get back on track. She loves the program so much, she even asked if she could continue going during her Summer! I think that alone speaks volumes to how fantastic this program and the people who teach it can be.

Our daughter was having difficulty grasping Math. We brought her to Mathnasium and over time she was able to build her Math skills. She is getting it much better now.

Both of my kids are loving Mathnasium! It's the most organized, well-run, welcoming, efficient and wonderful business I have ever encountered. The communication is amazing, everyone knows my kids and I get regular email updates about their progress. Holly (a tutor) even came out the the car to tell me how excited she was about the progress my daughter had made, then followed up with the official email report. I will recommend this place over Kumon, where we had the opposite experience and were very unhappy. Ashley is wonderful, responsive and accommodating. Thank you so much for everything, we absolutely love Mathnasium!

We originally went to Kumon and had a TERRIBLE experience. I sent a request for information through Mathnasium East Vancouver and within 10 minutes had a phone call from Ashley, who was so knowledgeable and understanding exactly what my kid needed from math tutoring! My daughter came out of the first session very excited and telling me how much fun she had; she has a variety of tutors depending on the day and all of them have kept her smiling and excited to come back. After a month of this, I decided to enroll my older daughter as well just to boost her fundamentals and she is also very happy with the experience. The approach through Mathnasium is so great: they do a VERY thorough initial evaluation and use that as the basis for starting and build on that. The are methodical in the approach and do not base success on time, unlike Kumon, which is much less stressful for my kids. The reward system is also a big hit with the kids, and my younger one saved enough star cards to "buy" her best friend a Christmas gift. Perhaps a tad expensive, but at this point (one month in) I would say this is well worth the cost to create a solid math foundation that will build skills to keep them moving forward at school. Absolutely recommend without reservation!

Our family is so happy with the care and professionalism Mathnasium has exhibited. Our child really likes this program even when done virtually. During the pandemic, I attribute all the academic progress our child made to Mathnasium. I could not recommend this program more!
