older adult programs are healthy and build community. I really like that they have added potlucks and trips. I wish there were a little better protocols for covid safety since covid is still a thing

EVERYTHING
I like that there are many treadmills so since I have been going to this Y at least one has always been available. Same with the weight machines. Staff is always friendly.
Aquatics team
I thoroughly enjoy the Silversneakers Program. The Older Active Adult Program run by Teresa is an awesome program giving us many opportunities to meet and socialize and expand our horizons.
Well I have not been a regular member yet but it is a good facility & the staff is very friendly & helpful
The cardio room it's awesome
I go to Silver Sneakers. This is a perfectly paced work out for me. The instructions are nice, friendly, make working out fun and easy.
The instructor is great (Teresa) and Dalinda. Only problem is the building was a little confusing, maybe some signs showing where rooms are. I enjoyed it and plan to continue
Friendly, the caring staff make sure you are doing workouts correctly and safely. Warm smiles and talk when you enter. Experience and receiving proper training is what I like about the swimming instructor and life guards. They care that you learn the correct way to swim and have fun in the water. I recommend the YMCA anytime swimming comes up in conversation.

Quite a variety of activities. Only wish arthritis aquatics could start again.
Staff is warm and friendly and the pool is great. The aquatics director is also great. He plans for safety and always has 2 lifeguards on duty.
Lots of activities and programs to chose from. There is something for everyone. Very accessible and convenient.
Group classes are a great mix of exercises led by first rate leaders. The extra social activities also bring people together in a very congenial setting. I think the Y also provides a much more diversity positive environment then what we see in the news every day. Our Y members and staff all seem to get along and support each other regardless of age, gender, religion or ethnic background. It can be done!! I couldn't be happier with my membership and hope to contribute more in the future.
Several activities are planned monthly for the Active Older Adults. They keep me busy - out of the house and interacting with other Y members. There is always something to do/get involved in. Theresa does a great job of coordinating the activities, she always solicits input from members.
