My family and I live a block away from this Lakewood YMCA, it is SO convenient for us to visit to 'work out', and with a friendly staff who are always helpful and SO MANY different programs for us to get involved in, it is always a good visit. We shoot baskets on the open court times, and I enjoy the free weight, and machine area. Clean and always well maintained.... it is a great example of conscientious care, and maintenance.
A great gift for my family and am glad I made the commitment for my family and their health..

Right now I only use the gym to workout and occasionally shoot baskets in the court. I really enjoy the cleanliness and congenial atmosphere when I workout. Great staff 👏🏻

The pool is the most important thing to me. It is a relationship ely quiet and calm place where I can rest or get a lot of exercise, depending on my energy level that day.
I also appreciate the cleanliness and availability in the gym. I use the treadmill and the elliptical.
I wish there were more places to stretch and do situos and squats with light dumbbells, but that is a small area that is always occupied. No too big of a deal, though. I just do those exercises at home.

I like the environment. The staff are really good. It offers many different types and levels of fitness. There are a few small issues, like in my class, we don't have enough bands for the group to use.

You have plenty of adult lap swim times which I like and great workout equipment.
I sometimes come here due to my working hours - while I may be done earlier in the afternoon there are times I am there 4-5pm and you have swimming available.
Also your pool times on Saturdays are more useful
The staff is lovely, It is clean and welcoming AND I love to swim in the pool!

Love the community involvement
I am there 2-3 times/week, use treadmill and weight machines. Friendly, clean, casual atmosphere. Trainers are always around, available. Desk staff always helpful. Haven't tried any classes..... yet
