The friendly staff
Plenty of activities to drop in on. Structured programs for adults and children. Helpful and professional staff. Takes my insurance Silver Sneakers.😄
Programs for all ages.
Very friendly staff. Mix of people attending clubs that reflect what is our country all about. Programs that fit the needs of members.
I really enjoy the instructors and most of the people in the class its a great place
Good water work outs. Nice people.
It would be nice if the broken or missing wall tiles in pool area were fixed. When you are in the water, it’s bard to not see them. They still make 12” tiles and the paint can be matched by computer ie. Dunn’s Hardware
clean facility
good classes
building is a bit dated
Those specific for "seniors"--many choices. I like the trips also.
The consistency of various programs
Friendly staff and family friendly activities
Thanks for opening 1/2 the pool for open swim
Excellent group exercise for senior citizens. Friendly and helpful staff.
Everything that you offer is fine. Thank you for being here.
What I like about the programs and activities is the friendliness.
They are senior-friendly and conveniently located.
I like the basketball program that teaches my sons the skills they need to play at the next level or just have fun. I like that Terry Howell is into teaching the boys about giving back and giving of there time to others in need. I enjoy coming to family swim and having nice people at the front desk like Mrs. Debbie who always has a kind word and a smile for you. I like movie night not many people came but we still had fun. I like the outdoor fair with the bouncy houses. The boys love to come to open gym. I really enjoy the atmosphere of family when the boys and I come to the Y
Swim lessons are great!
It’s always super clean! The people are very nice at all times! All smiles all love!
My primary focus at the Y is doing lap in the pool. You maintain the pool well. I could like having more opportunities to have a lap pool instead of a shared pool with exercisers on the one side and 2 lap lanes, especially since the constraints can result in very slow and rather fast swimmers having to accommodate to each other in a circle orientation. Most of the time, however, we find ways to organize that allow a little more adequacy. I also wonder about having one lane for exercisers and 3/4 of the pool for lapswimmers.
Varity
What do I not like? There is very little Open Swim. Too many scheduled activities, including very small classes.
I enjoy the camaraderie of the members at the Hillcrest YMCA.
The Acquatics Program has shown significant improvement since Philip has become the Director.
The programs have class content information for parents and instructors follow the curriculum so parents can see skill sets taught and see their child advance.
The emails to parents from the Director establish a professional connection with parents that adds to the professionalism of the program.
The people at the front desk are cosistently friendly, welcoming and create an inclusive warm atmosphere for people checking in. This is a YMCA to be a member of!
