My kids love going to Mathnasium. They are motivated by the special prizes they earn for their work and like to impress their instructors. While the school year hours don't work for our schedule we plan to have our children attend in the summer to prevent the summer slide.

My 8th grader changed school districts and was behind in pre-algebra. November he had an F by February he was understanding the material better than some of his classmates. We stopped attending and he hasn’t regressed.
Then our running start HS senior had to pass math class for graduation. 1 month before the final she attended and was able to get help her prepare for the final. She hadn’t passed her previous test and got a “B” on the final!!

My son has gotten straight “A’s” in his algebra class, now it’s on to geometry for his freshman year in high school. We started when they had remote learning in 6th. grade. I could see he was failing his mathematics requirements. My son took a basic math test and failed which upset him terribly. Told him this can be fixed, we enrolled in Mathnasium the next day. And haven’t looked back. Way to go mathematics!
Logan had one lesson and the next day was able to do his complex division in class (homeschool) without any issue. He was also much more confident. My twins love earning points towards tangible items. It’s showing them the value of saving too. The more points they save the bigger prizes they can get.
