The staff is very engaged with each child. They are patient and they are encouraging. The curriculum thus far is very compatible with the school's curriculum and will prepare them for the upcoming school year. Mathnasium is a great place for my son to catch up on his math skills ... fun teachers, great atmosphere, and very easy to schedule after school.
We have been working with Mathnasium for about 2 years now, and it is the best investment in my Isaac's education that I have made. Math does not come natural to Isaac and the instructors at Mathnasium are very knowledgeable and do a great job of helping Isaac to increase his knowledge and his confidence in math. The best part is that Mathnasium has stayed OPEN for in person LEARNING during the Pandemic...even while Hamilton County HIGH Schools were only remotely learning. This in person learning has SAVED Isaac and has kept him on track and kept him from falling behind in math as he surely would have if not for in person tutoring at Mathnasium.
I am really thankful for Mathnasium for their courage and dedication to remain open...to TEACH our children, as this is key for learning.
I love the support it gives my kids and I recommend it. However even though it’s less expensive then private tutoring it can be a tough pill to swallow each month...

Mathnasium has been our go to place for math help for my daughter for many years. When Mathnasium first opened in Chattanooga, I would drive and hour roundtrip from our home to there for my daughter to get help. It was worth it! Now, they have multiple locations and even thankfully offer online tutoring. The people really make Mathnasium worth it, though!! They genuinely care about my daughter and even kept in touch when she wasn't in tutoring to remind me they were always there if she needs them!! Alex, Mark, Gracie and all of the many fabulous people who work there really do care about helping as many kids as possible succeed!! Use Mathnasium without hesitation!!

WONDERFUL
Easy to get started. The online tutor didn't just teach AT him, but moved at my sons pace. He did encourage growth by approaching problem rules from more than 1 angle, like the school does, which just had the proverbial bulb come on.
No parent wants to have to get their child a tutor. However once we accepted that he needed more help than the teacher or internet could provide we took the tutor step.
I spent 3 weeks parusing 8 services, 3 local tutors, as well as trying to get the school involved more as my son hit a wall with AP Calc. After a extensive and...over necessary amount of digging, I opted for Mathmasium. He's gone from an F to a C+( you can only badger them for so much makeup work) and if they end up doing finals in Walker Co, I think he could pull it to a B. I will use mathmasiim again if he ventures into Calc2 in the spring .
Great experience and highly recommend for children who need a boost in the math department.
