A nice variety of classes plus virtual classes too . Facility is always clean - bathrooms are always well maintained . I wish there were options for reduced membership fees for those who can only participate
Convenience and affordable with lots of options
I like the culture and environment of the Branch Crossing YMCA. While the weightlifting equipment is somewhat limited during high demand periods it is top of the line. The coffee is excellent, and the staff is friendly and always willing to help out.
Some suggestions for improvement would be the following:
- While the gym has never been cleaner due to the morning shift fitness staff, it is quite annoying when they vacuum the floor due to the noise and it is really annoying when I'm on the floor stretching, and they choose that time to vacuum around that same area. Would it be possible to lay off the vacuum during the peak morning demand times from 6:00 - 9:00AM?
- There is very little to no areas set aside for stretching, would it be possible to reconfigure the current gym layout to incorporate a section exclusively for this who want to stretch and include the stretching equipment such as rollers, pads, exercise balls, etc.
- The caffeinated coffee always runs out around 7:45AM, would it be possible for the front desk staff to replace the empty canister with a full canister at that time or just get up and check it periodically to see if it is empty.

The programs are working for me because it movtivate me to do exercise in order to stay healthy.
When I first started exercising I was intimidated by the machines and then Egym came along and I tried it out and like it. I have just started with the Stair too, and the Silver Sneakers group exercise classes.
I am glad I came aboard and try to encourage my friends to do the same.
There are a variety of classes for everyone. Friendly teachers.

My favorite part of the Branch Crossing Y is the Line Dancing Class. The instructors are organized, explain the moves well, and are fun. It doesn’t feel like working because they have created an inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to make friends with your fellow classmates. I also like that the bathrooms are always clean, and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful.
My daughter loved the YMCA summer camp last year. This year she informed me that the camp was boring and activities were not exciting.
The Asian janitor in the morning in the weight room is amazing. He is always working so hard and it is so nice to work out in a clean and organized room.
Front desk is always nice and helpful.
The locker room and shower facilities are great. Much better than Shadowbend.
Kids appreciate the child care and splash pad.

I would like to see more exercise bikes in the building that are good for seniors. Right now you only have four and ONE is NOT working. Seniors need seats with a back. Please add more.
