I like everything about the YMCA. Membership cost is a little higher than I would normally pay at a gym but it helps employee others and helps the community.

I attend Monday 10:30-11:30 and Tuesday 11-12am programs lead by Mistie P. I have been attending these for more than 5 years. I find the activities are at my energy level and are not overwhelming my ability. Therefore I can focus and enjoy these activities which are very helpful for keeping my gaits, stability and muscle movement. I appreciate the teacher very much especially that she is not focused on herself but pays a lot of attention to her program and her students. She does not force us if we can not achieve what she can, yet she seem to enjoy workout with us!!
But I worry about the overcrowding of the gyms at times, or people who wants to attend and can not get in because of that. I know YMCA Fortbend is trying very hard to accommodate, and I am sure as you are working on it, you will find a good solution. Fortbend YMCA is my exercising gym, I am very happy there, I feel part of of it so much so that I am willing to donate to it. Good job you all!
Nice instructors who listen and and sensitive to our abilities. Socializing with participants. I’ve made some good friends there.
There is a program for every interest. They really listen to members and take action accordingly. The guys who are constantly roaming the weight room are very knowledgable and super friendly. All in all, a great place to get your fitness needs met in fun ways!! Thanks much!!
The choices! Lots of choices! Friendly teachers! I love the childcare! And the friendly teacher! There is something for everyone at the Y. The kiddos have plenty of activities. Its the best value for your buck. Its not just fitn a ss it's community!

I like that I can go early and use the gym and swim afterwards. Ladies locker room: the last shower only has HOT water, if you turn it to cool it turns off. Thank you
