Great gym with all the latest equipment
I have said everything in my last review and still stand by them. Several thousands have read it (5 stars) according to Google. My only somewhat adverse observation is: sometimes coffee is not kept up at the serving station although staff are not busy. Also if you stood at the reception just wanting to borrow the scissors or something, the clerk, although helping others and alone, wouldn’t even look at you to give you the chance to get a word in. I believe it is a policy but If I was being helped I wouldn’t have minded someone interjecting for one minute, instead of standing behind me through my entire business.
Good variety of classes, flexible hours and cleanliness.
Love the classes. Tricia is great. Wish the room was bigger. Wish John wasn’t a teacher. Or only taught seniors
I love the yoga and body flow classes
The weightlifting equipment has continually been upgraded in the 2 years I've been a member, and I appreciate that very much. I like the quality and quantity of equipment available for members.
Great equipment and pleasant environment. Staff is help.
I really enjoy the scheduled fitness lessons and the friendliness of the staff
Something for everyone
I like the variety of classes and various times for them. Krista Bedborz makes Body Pump engaging. She makes it consistent and easy to follow with her instructions. Especially for the uncoordinated The Y feels welcoming for all!
Good hours. Please improve spin classes - PLEASE restore Sunday afternoon class; and improve instructor quality
Extensive community engagement
New workout equipment
Availability of personal trainers
Strong community services that serve my area of Houston. Gym is outstanding as are the floor members and especially the trainers (with special mention to Patrick Polviriyakij)!
GOOD MACHINES UPSTAIRS AND GOOD ZUMBA CLASSES DOWNSTAIRS. But one has to pick one’s time to go carefully, because the place is crowded most of the dsy
I mostly workout and play basketball
Great facility
Variety of classes at various times
Good hours
Exercise programs and activities targeted for seniors and the wonderful staff that guide them. Kudos to Elena Dinkin for her leadership with the AOA program. I recently overheard a comment from someone that the Weekley Y was the best Y in the city and she had been to most of them.
I like the frequency of the group classes. The instructors are great.
I love the friendliness of the employees.
They are very courteous and polite.
Outdoor pool
Great place to work out
Yes, I like more Zumba lessons.
Flexible schedule and reasonable price!
I can go anytime of the day to a yoga class and or the gym. The price is reasonable enough that I don’t feel like I’ve lost a lot of money when I miss going.
Also, I am happy to support the Y because if it’s community work, especially with children.
Excellent
Lots of options for improving and maintaining good health
A wonderful place to work out. It is always clean and everyone is very nice and helpful.
And as a senior there are many activities to join.
camaraderie, good instructors, great equipment

Group exercise classes and later classes for people who have to work late
People are very friendly and helpful. Schedule are very convenient . I just wish they add more afternoon group exercise for seniors.

Variation of times and choices.
