They have been very flexible with our schedule since we travel from Rison to Little Rock for my 9 year old to learn how to read. His school was about to put him in special Ed classes as I knew he did not belong there. The first day at Sylvan they saw the problem and have been making progress ever since. I recommend them to anyone!!!
Our son is a freshman and has an IEP. We have asked our district for help and tutors with no luck. We felt he was not getting the help he needed. He was upset we set up the appointment. He felt like it was a waste of money he was stupid and if school did not work why would this program? After the first 3 sessions he was excited and felt better about the whole process. We are in the middle of the process and we are seeing a huge improvement!!

My son is struggling with reading and sylvan was literally my last resort. His teachers had given up on him and I was at the end of my rope. My son has been going to sylvan for a few weeks now and so far he's making great progress. We haven't gotten to the hardest part yet, but I'm hopeful we'll make great strides!
