Great environment to learn and practice math

The program is the best, my family is very happy with the results. We will send our son back to the program eventually. Maria and Hanna are the best. My son is now very confident when doing math problems.

We enrolled our now 13 year old daughter 2 years ago at Mathnasium since she was falling behind several grade levels in math in elementary school, the school couldn't provide her the support she needed to fill in the gaps, despite her having an IEP for learning disorders and access to extra support in the SPED room.
We were told the school district don't allow that because they need to teach the children grade level math, where they are expected to be at, no time to make sure the students understand and masters the skills needed before moving on to the next concept.
By doing so, the gap will grow bigger and bigger unless remediation is put in place.

By going to Mathnasium consistent for the past 2 years, several times a week, she has progressed so much and getting closer to reaching grade level expectations.
From not reaching the benchmark to even pass math in elementary school, she got a B when she started middle school, and as of this spring 2022, 7th grade, she got an A!
She also made Honor Roll!

Hard work, consistency, patience and letting her learn at her own pace, with the great understanding and support from her awesome instructors, she has become more confident and relaxed about math.
We will stay with the program for as long as we can since it's benefitting her so much and will help her through the rest of middle school and high school.

The staff is really awesome and caring and well organized in the planning of future sessions, great communication and they are very flexible with scheduling due to personal matters.

I can't thank you enough Mathnasium for what an impact you have done for her and our family.
She enjoys collecting her points and turning them in for prizes, some really nice ones like Lego sets and cute stuffed animals, and she likes wearing her Math shirt for extra points for each session she attends.

My daughter struggles in math and was being left behind because she did not grasp certain concepts. Mathnasium seems to be helping, as promised! My daughter may grumble about going to "math class", but each time she finishes a session, she is in a good mood and talks with more confidence about her progress.

My son seems to be doing well at Mathnasium. The tutors are helping him work through his math anxiety. So far so good!!!

My 6th grader looks forward to her math practice three times a week and has made major improvement!

Always a great place to take my son to gain his math knowledge. Love the staff, as they are always patient with him as he is the type to lose focus at times. But they are great at getting back on task! The Khaw family that run the Hillsboro Mathnasium are wonderful!

Its great, my daughter is scoring at HS senir level in marh and she is in the 8th grade.

Mathnasium helped my niece understand math in a fun easy going environment. She did not mind having to go twice a week and actually really enjoyed it. After 6 months she is so much more confident in her skills and is doing great in the classroom. Her teacher even asked me for the name of where we sent her to recommend to other families.

The owners, the instructors, everyone was amazing. They worked with my daughter even when she seemed withdrawn or she wasn't participating in the work actively. They really strived to make the whole experience rewarding, fun and goal oriented. I wish I had a Mathnasium when I was growing up. It was our core math curriculum for her 3rd grade year while we homeschooled during 2020.

Teachers and scheduling is great

My son finished up with Mathnasium feeling confident in his math skills to start Jr. High. We are very happy with the progress he made while he was there.

Excellent! The owners are very friendly and accommodating , easy to arranged schedule. All the instructors are great and patience. Lessons are customize to fit each child need. Mathnasium definitely help my daughter improve her math skills and confidence.
