I would definitely refer friends and family to The Waldorf Mathnasium! My two teenagers really learned a lot over the past 7 months. Their math grades have gone up significantly and they are less scared of math. They say math is easy now! They enjoyed the staff and looked forward to the tears at the end of each session.

My daughter hated Math. Going to Mathnasium has changed her outlook on Math, and has improved her skills and approach to Math. She likes the teaching/tutoring style, and of course the rewards. The staff are professional, and really engage with the students.

Mathnasium offers great encouragement to kids who need a little extra help with Math. The instructors are patient, and the Director Sameisha is wonderful!

I enrolled my granddaughter; who is 11 years old and entering into the 6 grade.

I felt she didn’t get the best math experience during the corona virus pandemic in the 5th grade, while the in-person school was shut down. She couldn’t focus with online teaching; especially during math. It was different and difficult for her and a lot of other students.

Since; she have been attending the Math Center; she have more confidence in math and she love’s attending. She is learning math skills and that’s great! I’m happy and she’s happy!

My daughter responded well to Ms. Samiesha immediately - as well as the other instructors. I am excited that she will continue to gain additional knowledge over the summer and I believe her confidence level increases after every visit.

The staff at Mathnasium of Waldorf are very friendly. Our high schooler attends 2-3 times per week with no battles; he WANTS to go! His math skills confidence and understanding have improved which is reflected by an increase in his math grades. The positive effects of this is spilling over to other classes with an increase in their grades also. We feel this is all due to a reduction in math anxiety and stress, improved math skills confidence and understanding, allowing for more efficient time management between all classwork and homework, resulting in improved grades all around! I really like how convenient it is to schedule sessions. I’m pleased with my son’s progress so far. I like that he enjoys going which says a lot about the program, he’s excited to learn.

The tutors were great and very personable. It improved my daughter's HS math grades and prepared her for SAT testing.

We had a good experience with Mathnasium. The director is wonderful and the teachers were always helpful. My student learner enjoyed her time with the Waldorf team.

We had to make the decision to end our engagement. The cost of the membership became a concern with our family's limited bandwidth to attend sessions at times most safe for my student learner (these were times with the fewest students in the center) given ongoing concerns with COVID-19.

My daughter just received her post assessment test after about 5 months of tutoring. Her score increased by 30%! The staff are knowledgeable, thorough and put the children at ease to ask questions and learn in a stress free environment. The Center Director and all the tutors are warm and patient!! Samiesha, please give the staff a BIG thank you from the Bowman family! We appreciate all of you. :)

Our daughter really enjoys Mathnasium, and seems to be learning a lot. It’s only been a few weeks. But so far so good. Also, Ms. King and all the staff we’ve worked with have all been wonderful. Everyone is very helpful and responsive. 😊

My daughter jada has been enrolled in mathnasium for almost 2 years. She has had a great experience with the instructors in a one on one setting as well as the virtual setting.

Wonderful staff. Very knowledgeable. Great communication. The only reason not a 10 is the cost. Other than that we would have continued longer than just what was needed at the time.

I see the boost they gave my child to get to the next level. Test scores were always low and she had no self confidence and struggled just to get through. Not really understanding the concepts and when and why to use them. Word problems scared her. She always had a love for math, but math didn’t love her. But then came Mathnasium as my last hope after elementary school. My fear was if she didn’t get it before middle school she would be lost and left behind. In less than a year Mathnasium got her where she needed to be to grasp concepts and feel confident to ask question and feel ok to be wrong and understand why. Now she is 7 grade and getting As overall and testing. She loves the virtual tutoring and always looks forward to the support. Thank you mathnasium!!!!
