My two boys have been attending Mathnasium for three years now. Our demands on the team at Upper Mt Gravatt have been ongoing and extensive due to the constant changes in the school curriculum BUT the team at Mathnasium have never complained, have never said to me that it's too difficult or that we simply can't do it. On the contrary, they remain flexible constantly, adapting to the many changes, adjusting the speed of work and level if necessary and always courteous, friendly and enthusiastic to share our successes. In truth I doubt in today's schooling environment we could succeed without their ongoing support. We are forever grateful to have them near by!

Mathnasium has been a game changer for our family!

Both of my daughters have struggled with maths, but the biggest transformation has been with my youngest. She’s autistic and had missed quite a bit of school, which left her feeling behind and frustrated.

Since joining Mathnasium, she’s made incredible progress — she’s now on track to be at level with her maths, and we honestly couldn’t be happier. The team are patient, encouraging, and make maths fun.

The biggest bonus? She actually looks forward to going each week! It’s saved us so much stress and so many arguments at homework time. We’re so grateful for the confidence and calm Mathnasium has brought back into our home.

We’ve had such a great experience with Mathnasium Canberra! Our child used to feel a bit unsure about maths, but now actually looks forward to going each week. The tutors are so kind, patient, and really know how to make learning fun and engaging for younger kids. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow — not just in maths, but in how they approach problem-solving in general. The team always takes the time to share updates and celebrate progress, which we really appreciate. We couldn’t be happier — it’s made a huge difference for our child.

The staff are excellent. My daughter feels very happy to go to tutoring. The work given is appropriate for the level of each child. They make it fun as well with the spinning of the wheel at the end of each week.

We have always seen the growth our daughter had while she is in Mathnesium. She enjoys going there and learning new things. Neetu was always keen to help and understands what you are looking for. I also like the way they do things for kids and are also thorough professionals.

The assistant help us and if we don’t understand they will give us more examples and give us one question to know if we understand. And in our folders there are lots of examples and mastery checks that makes us have more fun and the assistant or so kind and it’s so fun there my kids love going there !!!

Mathnasium is great because the student works at their own pace on their individual tailored plan and has a range of mentors who coach them. The students love to spin the wheel at the end of the session, potentially winning an instant prize. There is also a prize cupboard where the student can work towards choosing a prize of their choice when they have earnt enough cards. The location is handy. Totally recommend!

Out son has been attending Mathnasium for a year from his year 1 and he truly enjoys the experience. He has learned a lot, picked up concepts quickly, and we’ve seen noticeable improvements in both his skills and interest in math. Our daughter absolutely loves attending Mathnasium! I never get any complaints getting her there and she’s always really excited to tell me everything she covered that lesson as soon as she gets back in the car. Her confidence has grown exponentially and I even catch her doing maths for fun in her own time and proudly showing others what she’s learnt! Her teachers are very kind and patient with her and the incentives are a big hit! She also loves the independence of signing herself in and out, working through her set tasks, and asking for help only when she needs too. The difference we’ve seen in just a few short months has been worth every dollar, and we can’t wait to see how she continues to grow.
