My son really enjoys the interactive set up. We tried other dryer methods of math support but they did not work well with his style of learning. Gabby, at his center, does a great job at keeping him engaged. The reward method works very well. Math challenges become fun. Thank you!

Mathnasium offers personalized and really engaging teaching approach that fosters deep understanding of your child's needs of math facts and literacy. My 3rd grader loves going to the tutoring sessions, because she suddenly thinks that math has meaning and she can get good at it. It is very positive and smart teaching/learning environment.
I appreciated the candid feedback about the skills my children had coming into the program. There's so much more to the instruction than a center on getting homework done or preparing for the test (although I appreciate that also!) but addressing any fundamental missing or non-mastery of skills. My kids were very hesitant to start, as they do not naturally 'like' the subject matter but I can see in just over 1 month this has become less of a chore they need to do, but an experience they enjoy. After starting Mathnasium, they also talk about things they are doing in math class now, what they are 'getting' and what they aren't; I could never elicit any feedback before except "I hate it and don't want to talk about it'. I appreciate the regular feedback also via email. Time flexibility has also been great.
