Mathnasium Of Mount Pleasant has helped my daughter tremendously with 4th and 5th grade math. Thanks to Mathnasium, and their amazing tutors, my daughter started bringing home A’s and B’s in Math! My daughter has really enjoyed going over the Summer, and she is confident going into 5th grade prepared. This place is truly a blessing, and has given my daughter the confidence she has needed for a long time. We are very beyond Thankful and extremely pleased with Mathnasium, and the tutors there. They make teaching Math make sense, while making sure your child understands any areas they may be struggling in. It’s honestly been an amazing experience for my daughter and I both!
I recommend your program all the time! Over the last few years, I became more and more concerned that my daughter's learning was taking a hit b/c of a year + of remote learning during the pandemic on top of having moved to a new state with a totally different math curriculum. Not only do I subscribe to the methods used by Mathnasium (more like the state we'd moved out of) but I've been relieved to have the Mathnasium program as a baseline. We just moved again, unexpectedly, and again it's good to know that Mathnasium has her on a large scale path toward aptitude and understanding - no matter what happens in the classroom or frankly, where we live! Happy to say she totally rocked the state aptitude tests where we are now (& plan to stay!).
My daughter was never a Math person. However, after going to Mathnasium, her confidence shot through the roof! The staff was pleasant and easy to communicate with. We also loved how flexible they were with our daughter’s tutoring schedule.
My son is still new to Mathnasium. He is a little hesitant to want to go and do more ‘school work’, but he always leaves happy. I have even heard him laughing while working.
He doesn’t like to do math at school because he struggles in class and he misses a lot. If he doesn’t finish it all he has to use his free time, which is most of the time. Math has been a negative experience for him. At Mathnasium he isn’t graded and he doesn’t have to take home the work he doesn’t get done. It is beginning to make Math more positive and fun for him.
I do wish there was some sort of reporting on how he is progressing, maybe a month or quarterly update.
