I like that I can drop my child off for the summer program and pick her back up with her telling me how much of a wonderful time she had, and to know the security (sign in, sign out) of the ymca is secure.
Welcoming and diverse environment. Camp leaders are great; staff are variable but mostly good.
My child likes to swim so it's great you have swim days. I like the different camp weeks. It gives the kids variety. I like that the kids are fed lunch so I don't have to worry about packing one every morning. I like the camp hours, safety protocols, and flexibility with drop off and pick up. I like the Band App for communicating to parents what the kids are doing, although I haven't seen any photos lately.

I like the fact that my child was very social with other students in camp & they made activities everyday . He really enjoyed being at the camp. He’s never been to a YMCA camp, and we moved from MS in May & it has been the best experience thus far .
The crafts and activities were very engaging
My child came home with different activities and crafts daily. For example, he learned about hop scotch and dodge ball and also made slip and a link snake. He had so much fun!
I loved the YMCA summer program. They provided fun and entertainment each week. The field trips were amazing and my son loved going every single day.

Affordable price, friendly staff and lots of activities for the kids.
I like that they have different age groups for children. The curriculum that they have is good from frog street for the kids to be learning. But the only thing that I would change would be to at least give the part time crew a 30 minutes break. Also for the kids to have a indoor play place when it gets super hot and cold outside.

The programs keep the children active and moving
My son loves the onsite and offsite field trips and the camp games. I remember some of the counselors saying at orientation that they were excited to do art projects with the kids, but it doesn't seem like my son has brought home many projects. I really appreciate that we don't have to pay extra for before/after care and that food is provided Monday-Thursday. I wasn't expecting that. I also appreciate the safety of the check-in and check-out process.

My daughter enjoys the activities and loves going on field trips. It allows her to gain great experience and new friends. The staff is great as well!
My kids come home very happy and satisfied with the daily activities. I also love the staff because they are very transparent and immediately notifies me if something happens no matter how minor it may seem. It seems like the kids are closer in the small community and I will definitely return for next year’s summer camp.
