The YMCA here is such a great community of people. The workout classes are great with helpful and friendly instructors who know how to do the exercises correctly and make sure the entire class does them that way. Every one is friendly and I have made wonderful lasting friendships. New people are always welcomed and made to feel a part of this great group.

The Y is very important to our community!
Swim classes are vital for low to no impact exercise, especially for seniors.
My daughter loves her soccer and swim lessons. She does ask to go to kids night out more frequently than they are available. She has so much fun.
Since retiring, I feel I need to still be active. The Y allows me to do that in a comfortable and encouraging setting.
Pickleball, and weight training
Silver Sneakers classes, Indoor walking track and fitness machines. I love coming to this facility and look forward to working out and getting to meet old and new friends here.

The gym is not over crowded! The gym
Machine are ready to use and thwre are multiple of most machines so there is no wait.
Activities for all ages, indoor pool, pickleball courts, workout room, etc. Am quite concerned with possibility of the Y having to close down. So many seniors, including myself, depend on this Y. for keeping healthy and are unable to get to out of town Y's.
The Y is a great place to work out, spend time with friends and meet lots of people. It is a great part of our community and I hope it stays here for many, many years to come. I love the Y and I think many others do too.
There is a good selection of classes to choose from for different ages and activity levels. There are also swim classes for all age groups and a good size weight room. There is a sense of community and senior social activities outside of the the Y.
They provide summer camps for kids with a great swimming pool.
The instructors get to know the people in their classes.
So many reasons to love the Y.

I love the Silver Sneaker classes! Also I enjoy doing cardio on the machines in the workout room. I highly recommend the Granbury YMCA!

Well, equipped weight room that is not too crowded
There is absolutely something for everyone regardless of age or fitness level. Staff members are always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is never intimidating. Just a wonderful place with great people!
How well the life guards are doing over the last few weeks. We have a good bunch!
There are many opportunities for seniors to participate in different activities there. The employees are always very nice & helpful. Its a good place to get to know people in your age group.
