HomeforCare provides wonderful caretakers for our Mom. currently the lady that comes and has been coming for about 9 months, takes educational classes on a regular basis to keep her up with the care of issues the elderly may have. She just finished one on dementia which my mother happens to have.
the manager is always trying to fill any needed times we may need if for some reason our regular lady cannot be here.
It is a bit more costly than some of the other places we've looked at, but not by much.
I do prefer though that there is not a 4 hour minimum. There are times we have needed only a couple hours. That is the only reason for the 9 and not 10 rating.
Care giver Ashley does such a great job. I can count on her.

I appreciate the companionship and opportunity to just chat. I don't get that very often. I also am amazed at the ability for these gals to organize. I have a lot of "stuff" laying around. Both Dani and Hannah are able practically look at things and they are in place. I feel very comfortable with these gals. Thank you for their service.
Caregivers show up, on time, when scheduled. They are pleasant and helpful and look for useful things to do. Office staff return calls promptly. Schedules are made well in advance. Staff seems to communicate well to each other.(other agencies we have dealt with wait until the night before to call to say they will be coming. and multiple staff members call for the same time slot)

John Trumpeter the owner was totally prepared to handle any questions we had. His staff members were spectacular. One member (Janice) we had her from 8:00pm to 8:00am to help all week watch our mother. Janice sat in my father’s office chair just outside the doorway leading into my mother bedroom. When she would get up, it was to vacuum, clean and or wash dishes at night. What a hard worker every night. John has a great group of poeple. They are smart, hard workers with awesome personalities. I would recommend them too anyione.
